The Dallas Goldback is a single-issue project powered by Goldback to give Texans early access to Goldbacks before a full Texas series is launched. Each Dallas Goldback contains 1/1,000th of an ounce of 24-karat gold, making it equivalent to any other 1 Goldback denomination. It’s interchangeable with all other Goldbacks, allowing you to spend it seamlessly within the network. Why was the Dallas Goldback created? Goldback Inc. does not yet have the infrastructure in place for a full Texas Goldback series. The Dallas Goldback gives residents of the Lone Star state access to Goldbacks early while the groundwork for a complete series is being developed. Will the Dallas Goldback replace a full Texas series? No. The Dallas Goldback is a single-issue project. It does not replace the eventual launch of a full Texas Goldback series.
