1940s small hand fan brooch by Toshikane of Tokyo, Japan. Porcelain over silver-toned hardware. Design includes a bold red background with white and gold chrysanthemum, gold-toned accents, and red fan ribs. Raised design gives the brooch a tactile feel. Lovely piece in excellent condition. Signed. The brooch is marked on the back with the Toshikane mark and "Japan". Fan is approximately .75” high and 1.25" wide
