Product Details

Swazi agate is a richly patterned, banded agate named for its proximity to Swaziland (now Eswatini), though it’s actually mined in Mozambique. It’s prized for its layered translucence, intricate banding, and saturated hues—think smoky blues, stormy grays, dusty purples, and soft rust tones. Many pieces also feature natural orbicular details or subtle crystalline inclusions, which is why Swazi agate is so loved in lapidary work for cabochons and statement jewelry. This particular piece is especially striking. The banding is unusually crisp, with a beautiful balance of translucence and depth, and those tiny orb-like formations scattered throughout give it a true one-of-a-kind, almost cosmic feel. Comes with stand. BIN - $165
