Southern Railway System Book - Pass Rules (August, 1951) A firm copy with wear from use. Black thin hard shell cover. Taped to the inside front cover is a sheet of handwritten rules pertinent to the person/writer’s job, I assume. Also paper clipped in the book are a couple of blank yellow “Gang Pass” forms - the rules for Gang Passes are in the book and detail how many men are on a crew traveling to a job site, how long they’ll be there, etc. Very interesting piece for train lovers, history buffs, or knowledge nerds like me! Approx. 6.5 x 4. Please see all photos. A few pages have torn at the hole punches at either top or bottom as shown in the call-out photo. Some pages have hole reinforcers already attached. DH: 6
