Philadelphia, c. 1980s Issued to: Frank Sciarra, Atlantic Records Size: Men’s Medium This vintage MA-1–style bomber jacket was issued in the 1980s by Electric Factory Concerts, the legendary Philadelphia concert promotion company responsible for producing and hosting some of the most influential live music events in the United States during the late 20th century. The jacket was personally issued to Frank Sciarra, a longtime executive at Atlantic Records, and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Sciarra, confirming direct provenance. The piece was not produced for retail sale and was instead intended for internal use by industry executives, venue staff, or associates connected to Electric Factory–produced events. Constructed in a traditional MA-1 silhouette with orange emergency lining, the jacket features an “Electric Factory Concerts” chest patch and an embroidered performance dancer motif on the sleeve — a symbolic figure (see full description in photos)
