Antique/vintage porcelain rose lamp ornate brass base Beautiful victorian style, porcelain, table lamp with gilded sculptural roses and a brass base supported by dolphins like you would see in a medieval bestiary or illuminated manuscript (aka not at all like the real ones!) I've left the patina on the brass for now but you could certainly polish it back up to a glowing gold. The design on this lamp is so amazing. The tension between the uber-feminine grandma-core body being supported by literal sea monsters is so striking! it still has its original plug and lights up perfectly as is, but it's always a good idea to replace everything with modern wiring on an antique lamp for safety. Part of one leaf is missing and there is a chip on the end of another leaf. Any other flaws are within the realm of normal wear and tear for a vintage item. The shade is not included but can be bundled as a separate item if you would like
