This decadent Chanel bracelet was created between 1980-1983, just prior to Karl Lagerfeld's arrival at the fashion House. Plated with 24 carat gold, seven charms fall from the triple-layered chain of this bracelet. We see two embossed silhouettes of founder 'Coco' Chanel, Chanel logo lettering as a repetitive motif across oval, diamond and circular charms, and one large charm formed from two elaborately detailed, interlinked rings. The bracelet is secured with a spring ring clasp. The largest diamond charm is clipped onto this clasp with an intricately carved ring, and is detailed with a circular stamp debossed with Chanel brand name, iconic double-C insignia and “Made in France”. Early Chanel jewellery has become highly collectable, particularly the pieces from this era which feature many of the house's most recognisable design icons.
