Beautiful authentic antique lace keepsake frame dating to the late Victorian / early Edwardian era. This piece features original handworked filet/net lace preserved between two glass panels and set inside a hand-soldered metal frame. The attached chain indicates it was designed as a portable or display keepsake, commonly used to preserve important family textiles such as wedding or christening lace. A wonderful example of 19th-century textile preservation and sentimental craftsmanship.
