Product Details

Fantastic civil war era framed French fashion plate dating to the 1860s. These hand-colored engravings were taken from journals like Mondes De Paris and showcased the era's voluminous crinolines, fitted bodices, and decorative sleeves. Measured approximately 10.5 x 6.75” Yellowing and wear to print, as common with paper of this age (~160 years old). Painted black wood frame is old and shows some wear (as shown in live sale), and frame’s backing paper has damage. ***Please see all callouts in live show.*** All sales are final. No refunds or returns. Please bid responsibly.
