Fruit Stripe was a popular, brightly colored, striped chewing gum known for its quick burst of flavor and zebra-striped wrappers that doubled as temporary tattoos, featuring the mascot Yipes the zebra. Introduced in the 1960s by Beech-Nut, it passed through several owners before being discontinued by its final owner, Ferrara Candy Company, in early 2024 due to declining consumer preference.
