Folk Art hand-carved and hand-painted woodwork with original patina from 1910-1930 (set of 2) A genuine hunting call in the traditional French style, made of solid wood that is hand-carved and shaped, belonging to a rural Folk Art production, intended for practical use in the field and not for decoration. The shape, the simplified proportions, and the painting with matte pigments indicate a functional object, designed to be used as a visual decoy during wader hunting. The original, deep and layered patina testifies to years of use and constitutes an important element of authenticity. The heavily worn flat base confirms use on natural surfaces and humid environments.
