Rare antique two tone stoneware crockery whiskey jug with stenciled advertising on the side for "H. Schaefer, 734-740 Seneca Street, Buffalo, New York." The advertising is for a former grocer at that address. The building still stands in Buffalo and is called "The Schaefer." Jug is in very nice condition with no cracks or damage. Shows only some normal roughness to the bottom as pictured. Measures about 8 1/4 inches tall.
