Striking vintage Art Deco Bakelite cameo brooch, dating to the late 1920s–early 1930s. The carved cameo features a classical woman’s profile with flowing hair and floral detailing in a rich tomato-red Bakelite, set into a bold faceted black Bakelite frame with strong Deco geometry. The reverse is stamped “Pat. Pend.”, a hallmark commonly found on early American Bakelite jewelry during the period when mounting systems were being patented. Original pin assembly present.
