The Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe Dark Sulfur is a special collaboration between the contemporary artist and Nike on a shoe thats ordinary for extraordinary people. The first General Purpose Shoe, or GPS, for short, was designed by Sachs and Nike and released in June 2022. The model succeeds the duos previous landmark collaborations on the Mars Yard and Mars Yard 2. 0. The Dark Sulfur, or Archive, as it's also known as, is the second colorway of the General Purpose Shoe. The sneaker is likened to some of Nikes most timeless designs, particularly the Killshot and Waffle One models. According to Sachs, he set out to create a shoe that functioned as a tool for everyday life. The upper features a yellow-colored mesh construction with a microfiber collar and grey suede overlays. A white Swoosh is found printed on either side. The shoe sits on a three-piece molded cupsole. In terms of comfort, the cream-colored EVA foam midsole provides a soft ride.
