This is a berry bowl in the "English Village" or "Colonial Village" pattern by the Salem China Company, manufactured under the "Olde Staffordshire" brand. The pattern features a blue and white transferware design depicting a countryside cottage scene with a stone bridge and a detailed floral border. It is made of ironstone and the design is hand-engraved underglaze with permanent color. The bowl is approximately 5 to 5 5/8 inches in diameter. The pieces were crafted in England.
