Striking and highly unusual pair of table lamps crafted from authentic giraffe leg specimens, mounted on shaped wood bases and fitted as functional lighting. The natural form and scale give these lamps a sculptural presence that reads equal parts safari lodge and eccentric English manor. Each lamp features a preserved lower leg with intact hoof, finished with a hammered copper collar and standard lamp hardware. These lamps were made using giraffe leg material legally and ethically sourced in South Africa in full compliance with wildlife management regulations in effect at the time of harvest. The specimens were obtained through a permitted, government-authorized conservation and population-management program in 2011. Documentation available. Note shades are not included due to size.
