Following a previous encounter where he was seemingly killed by Vandal Savage, Wally West (the third Flash) is revived by the Killg%re system. After a vision of his father and past friends in the "afterlife," Wally returns to Keystone City. He collaborates with S.T.A.R. Labs to develop a new, sleek costume—the iconic "shiny" suit—to better handle his increasing speed and final showdown with Savage.
