Stunning Authentic Vintage 1940s Mexican "Tourist" Souvenir Jacket This is a museum-quality piece of mid-century Mexican textile art. Produced by the renowned Garcia Leal Hnos in Monterrey, Mexico, this jacket features incredible hand-stitched detail and vibrant felt appliqué. Design Highlights: Front: Two patch pockets featuring a "siesta" character and desert flora. Back: A large, intricate scene of a Charro and China Poblana in traditional dress. The woman’s skirt features hand-sewn sequins spelling out "MEXICO." Details: Hand-stitched blanket edging along the collar, cuffs, and front opening. Label: Original "Garcia Leal Hnos - Curiosidades Mexicanas" woven label intact. Not in perfect condition. The Mexico on back needs redone but could be fixed easily.
