Sterling silver and white enamel daisy ring by Anton Michelsen, Denmark. Hallmarked 925S with AM maker’s mark in shield. The daisy motif was originally introduced in 1940 to celebrate the birth of Princess Margrethe of Denmark (later Queen Margrethe II), becoming one of the most iconic designs in Danish silver jewelry. this company is later acquired by Georg Jensen and he continues to use the daisy motif. Size 6. Light wear to the original gilt finish consistent with age; enamel remains intact with no chips. A classic piece of Scandinavian royal-linked design.
