approximately 4"×7" pad. it was freshly cut. takes two weeks to callus over. Plant the pad vertically, burying about one-third of it in a well-draining potting mix or sandy soil. Do not water immediately. Wait until the pad has rooted (usually a few weeks to a month) before watering sparingly.
