Beautiful one of a kind white gold Victorian or Deco Era ring with an approximately .18 carat emerald in a raised mounting. (i think there may be a bit of wear under one of the prongs on one corner - didn’t want to risk investigating and damaging anything more, see photos) The markings on the interior of the band are not distinct so acid testing was needed. As you can see in the photos, the ring’s metal tested and held up to the 18k acid test, dissolving at 22k. To be thorough, platinum and sterling JSP acid was also tested and the metal failed both confirming the results that it is indeed gold. RS Buyers, please keep in mind that all items are being listed and sold as identified by the marks that are visible and the I do not damage through the outer layer of metals when acid testing. I do not have the ability to verify that every mark is authentic. Also, please be reasonable with expectations when bidding on vintage and antique items that they come as is and may have unknown flaws
