The set contains all the regularly issued coins from that year, including the Lincoln penny, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Kennedy half dollar, and the first five state quarters: Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and Connecticut. The coins have an "S" mint mark, indicating they were struck at the San Francisco Mint. Proof coins are specially manufactured with polished dies and blanks to produce a sharp, mirror-like finish with frosted designs. The set includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
