Incredible black velvet single-breasted vintage coat from the 1950s~1960s. Made in Paris for Jacques Griffe, one of the great French couturiers of the mid-20th Century. Features distinctive red and black tartan plaid wool collar and lining. The coat is mid-length, featuring all-original buttons down the front, and has a classic, tailored silhouette reminiscent of its time. Size: Vintage tag reads 42, fits Women’s Large Material: Wool liner, velvet shell Condition: Very good vintage with minor wear throughout, including small threadbare patch on collar. See photo.
