The set contains 10 proof coins, including a Sacagawea dollar, Kennedy half dollar, Roosevelt dime, Jefferson nickel, and Lincoln cent. It also features all five of the 2003 Statehood quarters for Illinois, Alabama, Maine, Missouri, and Arkansas. All coins in the set bear the "S" mint mark from the San Francisco Mint. Proof coins are struck with mirror-like backgrounds and frosted, sculpted foregrounds, giving them a special cameo effect.
