The set contains proof coins of each denomination made in 1997: a Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, and Kennedy half dollar. Proof coins feature a sharp relief with mirror-like backgrounds and frosted, sculpted foregrounds, creating a special cameo effect.
