Drafted in the first round of the 2016 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Lux quickly rose through the organization’s farm system and became one of baseball’s top prospects. He made his Major League debut in 2019 and soon contributed to the Dodgers’ championship run during the 2020 World Series season. Over the following years, Lux developed into a regular contributor for Los Angeles & Cincinnati Reds, in 2025 he will be playing with Tampa Bay. Lux is versitale playing primarily at second base and shortstop while providing contact hitting, speed on the bases, and strong defensive instincts.
