My husband will be undergoing the “Living Liver Donor” procedure starting next week. His own dad has been given a minimum life expectancy, especially being placed on the waiting list for an organ. Luckily enough, my husband is a match, and we are starting the 40+ testing cycle which will all be conducted in a 2 day span. Once completed, we will relocate for 2 weeks, about 3 hours away from our home and children for part of his liver to be removed and placed upon his dads. He has to have a full-time caregiver while hospitalized, so we will both be away from our full-time jobs until he is cleared for release. If you feel in your heart to help, anything is beyond appreciated. MOSTLY I ask, for my prayer warriors, to please keep us in your prayers these next few weeks as this is such an emotional and scary encounter we are facing.
