This item is a vintage Royal China Company Currier & Ives saucer plate featuring the classic “Low Water in the Mississippi” steamboat scene in blue transferware. The center design depicts a historic Mississippi River steamboat, surrounded by the signature Currier & Ives decorative border. These pieces were produced in Sebring, Ohio and became a popular mid-century Americana dinnerware pattern.
