Product Details

This cob coin was struck sometime between 1598-1621 under the reign of King Phillip III of Spain in Potosi, Bolivia. This coin comes in box and certificate of authenticity signed by a licensed Numismatist. The actual weight and fineness of the silver is not specifically mentioned, but coins of this type are around 13 grams of silver. One oddity is the period given and minting site is consistent for Phillip III, but the certificate erroneously lists Phillip V. Purchased from Kay’s Fine Jewelry in Nassau, Bahamas.

About the Seller
I still trying to learn more about this business. I wanted to sell a couple of items and I hope to have some fun talking about my misadventures in coin and bullion collecting. My latest adventures have been getting into type coins, old American coins for their numismatic value.
