Vintage Authentic 1959 RCMP Red Serge Tunic - Scott Clothing Co. Size V Breast 43 - MINT - MUSEUM QUALITY Pristine Vintage Condition. Officially decommissioned. This tunic has been exceptionally well-preserved. There are no visible moth holes, tears, or significant fading to the iconic scarlet wool. Its been officially decommissioned and I've left the threading to prove it. The fabric remains stiff and professional for ceremonial wear. The tunic will be shipped flat and carefully packed to maintain structure. The provenance is known - its from my grandfather who served across Canada for many years and eventually settled in the prairies. The internal issue tag features the original handwritten names "ELFORD" and "SANDERSON," adding a layer of unique service history to the garment. I have many of his things and I need to start offloading them to serious and respectful collectors. This is not a reproduction; it is a genuine service garment manufactured by the renowned Scott Clothing Co. in 1959. This piece comes from the early years of the Queen Elizabeth II era.
