Bug Grub™ is a premium, nutrient-dense insect gut load designed to maximize the nutritional value of your feeder insects before they’re offered to your reptiles, amphibians, and other insect-eating animals. Packed with essential vitamins, minerals, protein, and carotenoids such as beta carotene, Bug Grub helps ensure your feeders are as nutritious as possible. Bug Grub can be used dry or wet, making it extremely versatile for a wide range of feeder insects. When used dry, simply provide a water source such as gel crystals. When mixed with boiling water, Bug Grub transforms into a soft, play-doh–like consistency that retains moisture and shape for up to 36 hours, making it ideal for creating feeding stations inside enclosures. This wet form is especially useful for monitoring clean-up crew populations and for feeding neonatal or immune-compromised animals. Gut loading ensures feeder insects are nutritionally enhanced with essential vitamins and minerals, providing a higher-quality, fortified food source for reptiles, amphibians, rodents, and fish. How to create a feeding station: Add equal parts Bug Grub and boiling water. Stir until fully mixed and allow to solidify (about 5 minutes). Once cooled, roll into the desired size and place directly into the enclosure.
