Product Details

No one knows why NY goldsmith and jeweler Ephraim Brasher began personally minting gold pieces in 1787, but the result was a small set of rare coins, known as the Brasher Doubloon. Which were roughly the equivalent in value to the Spanish Doubloon. Though only six are known to exist, the Brasher Doubloon is well known in popular culture and some of them have sold at auction for more than five million dollars, making them some of the rarest most valuable coins ever minted. This replica is 100mm in diameter and is plated in pure 24k gold. it comes with a COA.
