Product Details

Circa late 1920s You are getting both (Two) decanters. These decanters originally held a French liqueur. The neck of the decanter is painted with "L'abbe Francois Gold Cup France". It is painted in Delft style with a blue windmill and a blue sailboat. The bottom is marked with a number and refers to how much liquer it held. These cute decanters are in good condition for their age! They have age-related scuffs and small dings, with some noticeable crazing. There are some hairline cracks along the bottom of the larger one. it is also missing it's top, the cork is inside the bottle. The label on the smaller one reads "Cherry Brandy L'Abbe Francois". The stopper had been broken at the cork sometime in the distant past and had been glued on for many years (you can see the age on the old repair). However, it came to me broken so I have re-glued it in the spirit (ha!) of the original repair.
