Own a piece of history— possibly!! I will go over what I have been able to discover about the potential provenance of this piece in the live. I have NOT been able to verify the claims on the note - however they are not disproven either. The lace itself is fully intact - heavily yellowed and there are a few tears/holes. It has been tacked onto the satin with thread.
