Victorian French Paste Sterling Fleur De Lis Brooch/Pin pierced design featuring crystal paste I am partial to french victorian sterling pieces and this is the most substantial and largest one I have ever come across. See the photo of the brooch in my hand to get an idea of the sheer size, and weight — almost an ounce and a half! The design has a serious depth as well. Some of the pastes are yellowing slightly but does not detract from this massive stunner. The hallmark is the french horizontal diamond shape with symbols or alike within, as well as the french boar’s head mark for Sterling. Weighs 36.7 (weighty & substantial) Measures 3 1/8” H x 2 1/8” W Hallmarked with the maker’s mark that I cannot make out - the strike is a partial strike. AND marked with the french boar’s head indicating metal purity of Sterling Silver
