Product Details

*This is a miniature specimen--please read dimensions carefully!* This is a beautiful, natural, and very unusual mineral specimen. This is a combination of rare sulfate minerals from Monte Arsiccio mine in Italy—it must not be exposed to air, as it will cause the minerals to decompose! This display piece is sold sealed and I strongly recommend it remain that way. This mini crystal cluster displays a blocky purple coquimbite crystal, punctuated by reddish-orange inclusions and soft acicular white fibrous layers and a spike-like growth to the side--it is mounted in a sealed display box with locality and present mineral info, in Italian, included. When cared for properly, it would make a handsome addition to any serious mineral collection! Locality: Monte Arsiccio Mine, Sant'Anna di Stazzema, Stazzema, Lucca Province, Tuscany, Italy. Dimensions: contact me Weight: N/A (mounted) Monte Arsiccio is an old iron mine in Tuscany, Italy, that once worked a barite-iron oxide-pyrite deposit.
