Original WWII-era snapshot photograph with handwritten notation referencing surrender data in Manila. Image shows a group of military personnel and vehicles outside a large building in Manila as the Japanese officer entrusted with carrying Japan's surrender documents enters an American vehicle en route to Nelson Field to board a C-54 for the final length of their journey. I have done quite a bit of research on this photo and can confirm that the tallest figure standing in the image is General Douglas MacArthur. Approx. 4x6".
