What a fantastic find! I've never seen anything like this in the States. I would have brushed this off for a hook and loom piece but it's definitely well made and the label on the back Is proof of its authenticity.. If you look at the pictures you can see the top back fold is coming loose. It does not hamper The piece hanging well. The loops that hold the rod are crocheted. Making a guess I would say this is from the sixties or seventies.
