Notes: Marcus Aurelius Marius was a Usurper emperor in Gaul in 269. He succeeded Postumus in the Gallic Empire. He is reported to have been of very humble origin and likely a blacksmith by trade. He was strangled in a private quarrel and died after a very short reign.
