READ Antique or vintage brass peacock fireplace screen with flaws. This is 34 inches tall and 47 inches wide when fanned out. The flaws on this screen ...some of the fans blades are bent a little and I had to put some of these back on track. They have little tabs that fit into a slide. One of the tabs is broke off and the best way I could fix this was run the side lock thru it when opened....see picture. This works great because if you wire it, the screen won't shut. I could work and get some of the blades back straight, but I'm leaving that to the buyer. It looks perfectly fine when opened as is. I would leave it. This is pretty much as found with plenty of patina! It is heavy and weighs a little over 20 pounds. It will be packed tight, but I can't promise some of the blades won't be off track when it gets to you, but it's easily fixed. If I didn't already have one, I would probably keep this one. It's gorgeous! The best is 11 inches by 6 wide.
