Hoya bella ‘Outer Variegated’ is a cultivated form of Hoya bella selected for its delicate trailing habit and finely patterned foliage. It produces narrow, lance-shaped leaves with soft green centers edged in creamy white to pale yellow, with variegation that stays fairly consistent as it matures. The plant has a naturally cascading growth habit with thin stems that drape well from hanging containers. It grows best in bright, indirect light with warm temperatures, moderate to high humidity, and a well-draining mix that is allowed to dry slightly between waterings. When mature, it may produce clusters of small, star-shaped flowers in soft pink with deeper red centers and a light sweet fragrance.
