Joe Morgan (1943–2020) was a Hall of Fame second baseman, primarily known as the sparkplug for the Cincinnati Reds' "Big Red Machine" in the 1970s. A 10-time All-Star, 5-time Gold Glove winner, and 2-time National League MVP (1975-76), he won two World Series titles. Renowned for his power-speed combo and high on-base percentage, he is widely considered one of the greatest second basemen in MLB history.
