Product Details
Ammolite is a colorful, iridescent gemstone made from the fossilized shells of ancient sea creatures called ammonites. It’s found almost exclusively in Alberta Canada in the Bear-paw Formation. Over millions of years, minerals replaced the shell, creating the gemstone. The colors in Ammolite don’t come from pigmentation but light refraction from different thicknesses of the gemstone.
