Original 1980 UK LP release on EMI (EMC 3330). Runouts: A1 B1 Believed to be an early/original UK first pressing. One of the most iconic debut albums in heavy metal history, featuring Prowler, Running Free and Phantom Of The Opera. Sleeve: VG (general wear and creasing present, but remains a respectable example.) Vinyl: VG (a reasonable number of hairlines visible throughout and most notable mark approximately 1.5cm between Tracks 1 and 2 on Side 1 - however has been play tested and generally plays closer to VG+ with only occasional light background crackle. The main issue is a brief pop for a few seconds at the start of Track 2, which settles down and plays exceptionally shortly after the vocals begin) A sought-after early UK pressing from the birth of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal.
