Each jar was made the old way: fine brass wires hand-bent into every petal and leaf, each color of enamel laid individually and fired — repeatedly — until that glassy, luminous surface was achieved, then sanded until the wires lay perfectly smooth, outlining each petal in fine relief. That traditional multi-fire process is largely gone now, replaced by resin and shortcuts. What you're seeing is the real thing. 💙 An all-blue symphony — cobalt, sky, periwinkle and white peonies on a turquoise ground, ruyi cloud collar at the neck, deep navy fish-scale border on the domed lids. Interiors fully enameled in turquoise with polished brass rims. Original "Made in China" stickers intact on both bases — quality 1970s–80s export era.
