Product Details

Isn’t she dreamy? This green net lace bodice dates from the turn of the century, around 1900-1902. She would have originally had a silk lining beneath the green net lace, which has since been removed. The details on this piece are extraordinary! There are pintucks, decorative buttons down the seam of each sleeve, wool tartan accents, lace collar and cuffs with Greek key and floral design, and a lined and boned waistband. Hook and eye closures all down the back. Another nice detail are the points on the stand up collar (similar to the design of the Lenore dress). Really a charming piece! +++ Measurements +++ Collar can be worn in its original position (12") or extended to 13.25" 31" bust Best for 22-23" waist +++ Condition +++ She’s in good condition overall for her age with a couple of small repairs and holes, wear to the decorative buttons, etc. Please see photos for the close ups.
