The American Patriot 1776–2026 is a limited-edition commemorative paydirt release honoring 250 years of American independence. This release tells the story of Joseph Davenport, a young patriot who served as a drummer in the Massachusetts militia and is the Gold Baron’s sixth-great grandfather. During the Revolutionary War, drummers carried commands across the battlefield, often positioned near the front lines and exposed to enemy fire. Just days after independence was declared, Joseph gave his life on July 6, 1776, while stationed at Crown Point. He was only 23 years old. Mintage is limited to just 150 bags. Each bag contains over 1 gram of added gold. $10 from every bag is donated to the Folds of Honor Foundation, supporting families of fallen and disabled service members.
