Rare tapestry wallet set from Daniél of New York's House of Nash for Neiman Marcus, circa 1950s. Colorful floral tapestry exterior encased in a polished cream top grain cowhide leather body, bordered with gold accents. Gold-tone hardware. Snap closure. Leather interior and faille lining. Signed on bottom corner. Four slip pockets, one zip pocket. Kisslock frame compartment. Removable tapestry kisslock coin purse. Can be used as wallet or a clutch handbag. Made in West Germany. Very good vintage condition. Leather recently cleaned and conditioned. Flaws consistent with age: Light wear on corners, minor cracking on trim of interior pocket, discoloration of coin purse lining.
