Product Details

These are 1923 $1 Silver Certificates, famously known as "horse blankets" due to their large size compared to modern currency. This series was the last large-size dollar bill issued before the U.S. transitioned to the smaller format in 1928. The amazing notes are sequentially numbered (V44574887D and V44574888D). Finding large-size funny back notes in consecutive order is highly desirable for collectors and adds a significant premium to their value. Blue Seal Silver Certificates were once redeemable for a physical silver dollar. Signatures: Both bills feature the Speelman-White signature combination (140.440.2)

About the Seller
A L W A Y S E N J O Y I N G 1. Larger well centered ancients! We can have in our hands little pictures of what it was like thousands of years ago!!! 2. Older consecutive and sequential currency (Silver Certificates, United States Notes, Large Notes, etc) 3. Jefferson and Buffaloes from OMAHA BANK HOARD (just for some fun 😎) 4. Full books of AU/BU Winged Liberties 16-45 and Washington Quarters 32-64 (what I like doing is buying the complete book and then swapping out whichever ones in the new book are better than my old book and then reselling it again!)
