This Vintage Hamsa Hand Shaped Brooch Pin is a unique and handmade piece that exudes a sense of nature and artistry. It measures 3.5"x2 3/4" I am not sure if it is silver but It passed the ice test, the magnet test and I tried the water density test however it's too thin. I also did the vinegar and bleach test. It passed all of those. I am ASSUMING this is silver and not Brass. I shined it up. Some of the newer ones were made of 100% brass. This has silver poking out from under the gold coating. Again- I did all the possible tests I could and so I'm going to price as if it COULD MOST LIKELY be silver. Feel free to ask me questions! It is a very rare very old silver Hamsa hand pin. I've found reproduction/ mid century versions of this brooch online. This is most likely the older one. You can tell by the pin too. Very large brooch. Non smoking pet friendly home.
